The Catholic University of Korea College of Nursing is a top-ranked research university. Our goal is to educate future nursing leaders through exposure to Nightingale Spirit and Catholic values of love, trust and service.

I am particularly enthusiastic about our Research Institute for Hospice and Palliative care. The Catholic University College of Nursing was designated as the WHO collaborating Center for Hospice/Palliative care in October 1995 and has leaded hospice education and training in nation.

As the only WHO collaborating center in Southeastern Asia, faculties and students are putting a great effort together to establish internationally outstanding center based on the philosophy of human respect and understanding and to advance hospice care in Korea.

While we are proud to be among the best, we continue to build on our strengths. I wish many young and energetic scholars come to a nursing field with a spirit of human respect and become a part of nursing history.
