Required documents for admission of foreign students to the graduate school

1. Application form (fill out, print, and submit online application) : 1 copy 2. University (expected) graduation certificate : 1 copy - Translated into Korean and notarized (Please note that certificates in English do not need to be translated or notarized.) - Students applying for admission to doctoral degree programs must also submit their graduate school (expected) graduation certificate ※ Method of academic background authentication ① Apostilled authentication ② Authentication by the Korean consulate in the applicant’s country of residence, or the consulate of the applicant’s country in the Republic of Korea ③ Certification reports issued by the Academic Background and Degree Certification Center operated by the Chinese education authorities (where applicable) 3. University transcript : 1 copy - Original or copy translated into Korean and notarized (Please note that certificates in English do not need to be translated or notarized.) - Students applying for admission to doctoral degree programs must also submit their graduate school transcript 4. Recommendation from (future) advisor at the Catholic University of Korea : 1 copy 5. Recommendation from professor at the university attended by the applicant : 1 copy 6. Certificate of work experience (where applicable) : 1 copy 7. Copy of passport and resident ID : 1 copy each 8. Application fee (KRW 70,000 for master’s program, KRW 80,000 for doctoral program) 9. Certificate of family relations : 1 copy * Including parents 10. Proof of financial support (proof of a bank balance of at least USD 20,000) : 1 copy - Certificate proving a bank balance of at least USD 20,000 in an account held by the applicant or the applicant’s parents, issued by a bank in the applicant’s country of citizenship (Funds must be kept in the account for at least 1 month) 11. Current certificate of employment (if currently employed) 12. one photo (passport-sized) 13. Test report proving that the applicant has scored Grade 4 or higher on the Test of Proficiency in Korean, a TOEFL test score (CBT 210, iBT 80) or IELTS score of 5.5 or higher, or a TEPS score of 326 or higher 14. Doctor’s license or nurse’s license (Required for applying department of medicine or nursing) 15. If currently residing in Korea, copy of current alien registration card
