Graduate Admission Guidelines for International Students

2. International Admission

A. applicable Conditions

1) Both the applicant and his/her parents are not citizens of Korea.

2) He or she should have received the entire course of education(from 1st

grade of elementary school to undergraduate graduation) outside of Korea.

B. Eligibility

1) Master's degree/ Combined Master & Doctoral program

Applicants must hold or expect to hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent

(or higher) degree from an accredited college or university prior to entering

CUK.

2) Doctoral program

Applicants must hold or expect to hold a master's degree or an equivalent

(or higher) degree from an accredited college or university prior to entering

CUK.

C. Required Document

1) A completed application form.

2) A graduation Certificate from the college or university(an English certificate)

(An official graduation certificate from the graduate school for Ph.D applicants)

※ A proof of degree can be obtained from apostille or the Korean consul in the

country where the school is located or the school where the school is located in

Korea.

※ Trans and certificates from universities in China must be accompanied by the

verification from the China Academic Degree & Graduate Education Development

Center(http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn)

3) A tran from the college(in English)

(An official tran from the graduate school for Ph.D applicants)

※ A proof of degree can be obtained from apostille or the Korean consul in

the country where the school is located or the school where the school is located

in Korea.

※ Trans and certificates from universities in China must be accompanied by the

verification from from the China Academic Degree & Graduate Education

4) A recommendation letter from a professor

5) A recommendation letter from the expected academic professor in Catholic

University.

6) A certificate of career(if applicable)

7) A copy of applicant’s passport

8) Application fee(Master 70,000 won, Ph.D 80,000 won)

9) A certificate of family relations (with parents, if applicable)

10) Financial certificate with supporting documentation of applicant or parents with

a minimum deposit balance of US$20,000 for a month or above

11) A proof of employment(if applicable)

12) An ID photo in color (size 3cm X 4cm)

13) Official test score of TOPIK(above level 4) or TOEFL(PBT 550, CBT 213, IBT 80),

IELTS(5.5), TEPS(551)

14) A copy of a medical or a nurse’s license(Applicants in Department of Medicine

or Nursing)
