The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in the medical school of the Catholic University. We have been leading the care of patients suffering from disease based on respect for the value of life, the fundamental spirit of Catholicism, through the truthful medical art. Moreover, we have made continuous progress in our research activities, resulting in excellent scientific achievements with global competitiveness. We will continue our best efforts to reach our ultimate goals of contributing to national scientific and technical development and promoting public health though research into the development of diagnostics and therapeutics, and academic exchange with globally renowned researchers and research institutes.
