The department, established in 1957, currently consists of seven faculty members, four research assistants, three staffs, thirteen students and one post-doctoral fellow. We aim to foster excellent medical scientists through undergraduate and graduate courses. We have also recorded major scientific achievements in the field of life science, a major research area of the 21st century, and classical morphological research.
Our vigorous research activities have, over the last three years, resulted in 94 publications in international scientific journals, 19 publications in domestic journals, 7 presentations at international conferences, and 38 presentations at domestic conferences, among others.
