Physiology is a basic medical science consisting of the study of the normal functions and mechanisms of the human body, providing medical information which is essential for the education, research of clinical medicine and development of therapeutics. Research in the fields of Electrophysiology, Neurophysiology, Endocrinology, and Molecular Cell Physiology is conducted by six faculty members and four research assistants and graduate students. All of the members of the department share a passion to understand the fundamental principles of life.
